Alternate Transportation
If your vehicle is repaired under Major Guard, you're covered for alternate transportation. Major Guard will pay the cost to rent a replacement vehicle or for public transportation (some limits apply) when:

Two or more labor time guide hours are required for the repair, or

Your vehicle is not drivable and must be kept overnight**

Optional Tire Road Hazard Protection for Your New Vehicle
Select optional Tire Road Hazard Protection coverage for your new vehicle and you're protected for 60 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, regardless of the term of the associated service or maintenance contract, against tire damage caused by roadway debris such as: chuckholes, nails, glass or jagged metal. Tire Road Hazard Protection covers 100% flat tire repair and prorated tire replacement based on tire wear.

Designed to Meet Your Needs
Choose the Major Guard term best for your situation. Coverage is offered based on years of anticipated ownership and annual mileage driven. Deductible choices are available from $0 to $200, meaning you can limit or virtually eliminate unanticipated out-of-pocket expenses.

Major Guard can be purchased at any time during the new vehicle warranty period; however, the earlier you buy, the better the value. If a vehicle is out-of-warranty when it is purchased, Major Guard can only be bought at the time of vehicle purchase. You can even make Major Guard part of your monthly payment.

Repair paperwork is gone too, because everything is taken care of by your GM dealer.

You may also enhance your vehicle's value because if you sell your vehicle, Major Guard can be transferred to the new owner for a small administrative fee.

With Major Guard, your vehicle is protected. Regardless of the terms you select, Major Guard will give you peace of mind for the long run.
